Born and raised in Alberta, Canada, Lisa Roper has built a life around her love of fishing, the outdoors, and connecting with people. As Canada's first woman to host and produce a nationally broadcast fishing television series, Lisa has turned that passion into a platform to share incredible fisheries, inspire others, and help more people find their place on the water.
At the heart of Lisa’s work is a deep respect for the fisheries and wild places that make these experiences possible. She believes great fishing comes with a responsibility to protect what we have, share what we know, and create opportunities for others to experience it. Through conservation, mentorship, and hands-on education, Lisa is helping build a stronger connection between people and the waters they love while encouraging the next generation of anglers to carry that responsibility forward.
